Specializing in live audio production, lighting production, mobile and studio recording, mixing and mastering services and project mapping, Midkoast Entertainment seeks to raise the current standard to make MKE synonymous with entertainment services in the greater Milwaukee Area.
Once a year in July, MidKoast Entertainment organizes and hosts Cliffstock, a local 3 day music and arts festival along South Milwaukee’s beautaful Lake Michigan shoreline. This event is and has always been a free admission art, music, & camping festival run 100% by its participants. All expenses are provided through donations from participants prior to the event. This means that the overall success of such an event rests largely on what you contribute. Every year since 2009, the good people of Cliffstock Artist’s Collective set up camp for an entire weekend right on the edge of a beautiful cliff in South Milwaukee overlooking good ol’ Lake Michigan. There is artwork and jewelry for sale and on display, all made by local artists (that’s you!), not to mention our stage where we have live music playing all weekend long! The whole idea is to promote local up and coming artists by curating an environment in which everyone is encouraged to demonstrate their work to those who would appreciate it most. In the year of 2016 alone, Cliffstock Arts Festival featured 25 scheduled musical performances, 6 hours of open-mic / open-jam time on stage, and over 20 local artists & vendors. Cliffstock Arts Festival is hosted by MidKoast Entertainment, LLC, who also provides all of the stage production. Founded by Collin Bischoff (a.k.a. “Chippy), the event has taken place on private property at the Bischoff Residence for the past seven years in a row with the grace of Collin’s father, Lon.
Sponsors of Cliffstock Arts Festival for the year 2016 include Ashley Hoo , Barbiere’s Italian Inn , Blue Peach Photography, Danielle Walton, Escape To Ecuador LLC, Gtek, Hue Bloom, Isabella Holmes Zoltak, Jada Patterson, Katica Marie, Lady Ares, Lady Venus, Leafhead, MidWest Made Men Entertainment, Milwaukee O.A.T.S., Mint Kondition Tie Dye, Off Bradford, Photon Orange, Stre.am App, Two Forty Shorty, Vishuddha Designs, and Yogie B. & Keez. Personal responsibilty, leaving no trace, and maintaining respect for onesself as well as those around you are the underlying principles that have allowed this communal movement to survive and flourish to date.
